They were fully booked the night we came, but we were able to be seated at the bar no problem! All of the food was delicious and the service was 5*! We were here for our anniversary and they were so kind as to provide a dessert on the house. We’ll be back again for sure!
We're traveling, on our way home from South Carolina where we spent the past week. I went online as we are staying overnight in Richmond, Virginia and I looked at all the restaurants this restaurant just spoke to me and we called and made a reservation. They did not disappoint. The chef is very creative and the flavors unique. We had a calamari that had a little bit of bite to it, but also some honey/sweetness. My husband had the best gnocchi I've ever had. It was tender and not chewy at all. I haven't had any steak in probably a month so I opted for the 6 ounce Fillet, which was perfectly pink sitting on an amount of mashed potatoes with asparagus, and each item was well cooked. Highly recommend. Even the waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable, Management came in and said hello to us while we were sitting at the table to see how .fillet, which was perfectly pink sitting on a amount of mashed potatoes with asparagus, and each item was well cooked. East Coast Provisions ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a spot that takes drinks "seriously", East Coast Provisions is it—Matt, our bartender, crafted some of the best cocktails we’ve had in a while, with the cosmopolitan martini stealing the show. The flash-fried calamari, tossed in a sweet Thai chili sauce, hit all the right notes: crispy, sweet, and just a little spicy. The crab cake sandwich? Deliciously satisfying. But the real star was an off-menu fried oyster po' boy—perfectly crisp oysters piled high—and those truffle shoestring fries? Phenomenal. Pro tip: Sit at the bar, let Matt work his magic, and don’t be afraid to ask about off-menu gems.
Went here this past weekend on a trip up to Richmond. We wanted somewhere with oysters on the half she'll and this was one of the first places that popped up. Super glad we checked it out. Walking in i already knew it would be good. We sat inside but they do have outside and seating upstairs. We got offered to try this octopus dish that was presented beautifully and tasted yummy. It was thinly sliced withsome garlic crushed red pepper and a lil oil. We had oysters of course and the truffle fries. They oysters were super clean and fresh tasting. We had some beer but I do want to also mention that the water was good, for those that drink water iykyk. Our server was awesome, im sorry i forgot his name. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're up!
Had a great anniversary dinner here, the service was awesome, food was incredible. The oysters were solid and the Steak frites were remarkable. The fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time! Really great!
We come here every anniversary, and it's always a delight. The staff are so kind, genuinely care about making your night better, and the food is *amazing.* We got the last plate of the special that night, and several staff members came over to ask us if we were having a good time, and actually made good conversations with them too! The Wagyu & Lobster special was /amazing./ If they ever do it when you're there - GET IT, and get it medium rare. It's so worth it. Highly recommend asking for one of the tables near the fireplace - especially in the winter!
Our server was amazing and attentive. The food was delicious (Restaurant Week Menu was on point.) Great atmosphere with different options (upstairs, down, patio.)
